The celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in all districts of the city.

In Perm, the Victory Day celebration began with a theatrical prologue "Time of Heroes. Homeland of Heroes" and a ceremonial march of the Perm garrison troops with the participation of military equipment on Oktyabrskaya Square. The parade of equipment was opened by a T-34 tank, which reached Berlin during the war. About 13 thousand people watched the parade from the spectator stands. The guests of the parade were veterans of the Great Patriotic War, local military operations, home front workers, participants of the SVO, residents and guests of the city. The governor of Perm Krai Dmitry Makhonin addressed the residents of Perm with a congratulatory speech.
After the ceremonial march of the Perm garrison troops, the "Immortal Regiment" action took place. More than 50 thousand Perm residents marched in the column with standards and photographs of their relatives and friends - participants of the Great Patriotic War.
On the holiday, anniversary events and musical programs were held on the city esplanade and the embankment of the Kama River. From the stage in front of the Theater-Theater, the head of Perm Eduard Sosnin congratulated the residents and guests of the city on Victory Day.
– Today we celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The parade on Oktyabrskaya Square has died down, the "Immortal Regiment" has returned to the streets of the city, our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who gave us peace and freedom, marched with us. We must remember the feat they accomplished. Today, Perm residents took to the streets of the city with their entire families, this speaks of the inseparable connection between generations, this is our strength and power, we will never be defeated by anyone. We live in the Homeland of heroes, we live in the times of heroes! – emphasized Eduard Sosnin.
Almost 13,700 people watched the concert of Perm creative groups on the esplanade. The academic choir "Mlada", the movement "Time of the First", the ensemble "Otrazhenie", students of the Presidential Cadet School named after Fyodor Kuzmin, soloists of "PermConcert", students of the art education center "Rostok", the group "Dozor" performed on stage. The program was completed by the performance of the Perm provincial orchestra "Let's bow to those great years" with the soloist of the Mariinsky Theater Vladimir Tselebrovsky.
Victory Day in Perm ended with a festive fireworks display lasting 10 minutes. The salute was launched from the right bank of the Kama. More than 25,500 Perm residents watched the launch of the fireworks.
